Remio Host is a remote desktop streaming application developed by Remio for Windows PCs, currently available at version 2.8.8 as part of a release history spanning 11 versions. The software falls into the remote desktop and screen streaming category, serving as the host-side component of the broader Remio ecosystem. Its purpose is to turn a Windows PC into a streaming target that can be accessed from a variety of client devices, with Remio clients available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, and Windows. Update delivery is handled through a built-in auto-update mechanism based on WinSparkle, with updates signed end-to-end using EdDSA, enabling users to obtain the latest version with a single click.
